No. Codes cannot be redeemed by typing words in chat.
Valid codes can be redeemed from the Settings menu. Valid codes will only be announced on Rocket League official channels either in a blog or on social media. There are no secret valid codes.
- From the Main Menu, Select Settings
- Select the Extras tab
- Select Redeem Code
- Enter the Code
- Select OK
